Chinese Freemason Association Circa 1963

Lam Sang Sifu, second row right of the lion, choose from among this group of students, those shown in the Second Pai photo to be his personal disciples.
Kwan Tak Hing (Wong Fei Hong) was a guest of honor shown in this photo (second row, second left of lion). Among Lam Sifu's distinguished students were Wong Baklim, Mark Gin Foon, Chin Ho Dun, Louie Jack Man, Harry Wong. In fact, they were all distinguished! His personal disciples criss crossed from Lam Sifu's various Associations, although, it was a kind of taboo.
This photograph was given to me circa 1990 by Harry Wong, shown right in front of Louie Jack Man. He was a Chinese Mason and studied in NYC under Lam Sang Sifu. About 60 yrs old at the time (1989), Harry Wong had a small Chinese grocery store near the ocean in San Francisco. I would often visit to learn and exhange with him. His enthusiasm for 'Monkey' Lam Sang never waned. At that time, the Chinese Freemason Association on Mott St. in NYC was the only other place I had seen these photographs displayed. I gave this photo to a couple of people and since it has been widely circulated.
